Two bikes, four bikes or a luggage box: one Minnid system

Keep the foundation. Change the modules. Here are the six main layouts and what you need for each one.

You buy a bike carrier for a cycling trip. Next time, you need more luggage space. With Minnid, that does not have to mean buying a different carrier: you can change the module on the same compatible foundation.

The combinations at a glance

What you want to carry Module arrangement
Two bicycles or e-bikes Base + bike module
Extra luggage Base + Box
Four bicycles Base + Base XT + two bike modules
Two bikes and luggage Base + Base XT + bike module + Box
Two luggage boxes Base + Base XT + two Box modules
A motorcycle or scooter motorcycle module with its integrated base

Each arrangement uses the appropriate vehicle mounting kit and swing carrier. Availability depends on your vehicle and its permitted load.

What stays when you change modules?

The vehicle-specific mounting and swing carrier form the foundation. The bike module and Box fit onto Base. If you want two of these modules at once, Base XT extends the setup to provide the second position.

That lets you start with two bikes and add luggage capacity later. Or use one Box on a trip without the bikes. You keep the compatible foundation rather than replacing the entire system.

A module for bikes, a box for luggage

The bike module takes two bikes, up to 35 kg each, and weighs 10.6 kg. Two bike modules give you four places and up to 110 kg of combined bicycle capacity in a suitable setup.

Box provides enclosed luggage space outside the van. A bike-module-and-Box combination is useful when you want the bikes along without filling the interior with the rest of your equipment.

Motorcycle module is used on its own

For a motorcycle or scooter, the motorcycle module has an integrated base and carries up to 130 kg, subject to vehicle and system limits. It is not combined with Base XT or a second module.

The motorcycle module weighs 25 kg, excluding the ramp. The ramp travels secured inside the vehicle, leaving the carrier’s available motorcycle allowance for the bike.

Choose BASE if you want the option of two modules

BASE has folding, extendable rear LED lights. BASE Lite’s folding lights have a fixed width. We recommend BASE for the most flexibility, especially if a second module may be part of your plans.

Choose your vehicle and build a setup to see the components and prices. You can start with the modules you need now.
